Army-West Point will kick off 2019 action with the Army Invite Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st. New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Iona will be the other three teams in the field

Cornell will kick off their season Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th with the Cornell Invitational, which will also feature Youngstown State, Niagara and Hartford

Army-West Point will unofficially open their season Tuesday, August 13th with an exhibition contest against Seton Hill at the Red Bulls Training Facility in Whippany, New Jersey before a home exhibition Friday, August 16th against Massachusetts. They will officially open their season Thursday, August 22nd at home against Northern Arizona and Sunday, August 25th at home against Vermont


Army-Navy Star Series
The (men's) golf match will be held at the Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Valley, New Jersey from Saturday, October 5th through Sunday, October 6th. The course has been ranked as the best in the world three times in the past seven years

Army-West Point will kick off their season Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th at the Colgate Invitational, which will be held at the Seven Oaks Golf Course- the host site of the 2019 Patriot League Championships- in Hamilton, New York

Both ONE Championship (Mall of Asia Arena, Pasig, Philippines) and the Legacy Fighting Alliance (The Bomb Factory in Dallas) will have fight nights on Friday, while the UFC will have a fight night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday. Next Thursday, the Premier Fighting League will close their regular season with a fight card at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey

The Pan-Am Games in Lima, Peru will continue through August 11th on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. Boxing medal matches will take place on Friday

August 17th: 22-1 Daniel Cormier, recently awarded as the ESPYs Fighter of the Year, will look to defend his UFC heavyweight belt against 18-3, 14 KO Stipe Miocic at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California
*Cormier has won Performance of the Night three times and Fight of the Night twice, and also claimed the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament title before moving to UFC
*Cormier is looking to be 2-for-2 in UFC heavyweight belt defenses   
*Miocic has won Performance of the Night three times and Fight of the Night three times in addition to a Knockout of the Night
