Basketball
Cartier Diarra will transfer from Kansas State to Virginia Tech 

D1-bound Tarleton State has hired Billy Gillespie as their men's basketball coach 

The Chinese Basketball Association has delayed their season restart 


NFL News
Beginning with this season, the postseason will feature fourteen teams after a vote of the owners 

The Browns have signed DE Adrian Clayborn for two years 

The Patriots have released QB Cody Kessler and the Bengals have cut CB Dre Kirkpatrick  


Golf- Royal St. George's Golf Club
The Open- set to start on July 16th- has been cancelled
The British Amateur and the British Women's Amateur have been moved from June to August 
The Curtis Cup has been moved to next summer 


Men's Soccer
The Champions and Europa Leagues have been suspended until TBD

The German Bundesliga will restart no earlier than April 30th 

Due to the Belgian soccer season being cancelled, Club Brugge have been declared league champions 


Baseball
P Chris Sale will most likely be ready for the 2021 season after a successful Tommy John surgery 

All MLB minor leaguers will be paid $400 per week- with medical benefits- through either the beginning of the season or May 31st (whichever is earliest)

The Cardinals-Cubs MLB London Series, set for June 13th and 14th, has been cancelled 


Mixed Martial Arts
Will Brooks has signed with the ARES promotion 

Bellator is postponing their next three cards- originally scheduled for the 9th, 16th, and 29th of that month 

Santiago Ponzinibbio has joined Dustin Poirier in asking for a short-notice bout with Tony Ferguson on April 18th. Although no word has yet come out, the expected frontrunner in Justin Gaethje 

The Premier Fighting League has delayed their 2020 season, originally penciled in to start in May 

UFC fighters who would've fought at UFC London on the 21st will receive- or have already received- payment 

Valentina Shevchenko's flyweight title defense v. Joanne Calderwood will reportedly be pushed back due to injury. It was originally scheduled for UFC 251 on June 6th 

Champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Felicia Spencer both want their featherweight title fight at UFC 250 to be moved from Brazil to Florida. UFC 250 is tentatively penciled in for May 9th 

RIZIN 22, originally scheduled for April 19th, has been cancelled 


Tennis
As of now, the U.S. Open will go ahead as scheduled (August 24th through September 13th)

Wimbledon will be held June 28th through July 11th of next year and will not be held this summer 


Women's Soccer
Euro 2021 will reportedly be pushed back by a year (this follows Euro 2020 on the men's side being postponed to next year)
