Should Israel Adesanya's next fight be against Jan Blachowicz for the 205 strap?

No.

The UFC prez has moved on from Adesanya-Whittaker 2 for the middleweight strap because Whittaker "doesn't want to fight Adesanya", at least according to the head of the UFC. But it's not that Whittaker doesn't want to fight Adesanya- it's that Whittaker doesn't want to fight Adesanya right now. With a new addition to the family expected in January, Whittaker is looking for February or March- six months at the latest from Adesanya's second title defense. 

Adesanya has said he wants to clean out the middleweight division before moving to light heavyweight, and bidding to go 2-0 against Whittaker seems like an excellent way to do that. And then take out Hermansson or Till in August or September. 

Not to mention the fact that Teixeira-Santos this weekend is a top contender bout at 205 anyway.
