Quota Spots
Men
Flyweight, Featherweight and Lightweight: Five people each will qualify for Tokyo. The four semifinalists will be in, as well as the winner of the second-chance semifinal- the quarterfinal losers in the double-elimination semifinals
Welterweight, Middleweight and Light Heavyweight have four qualifier spots each- if you advance to the semifinals you book a spot in the Tokyo field
Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight each have three spots up for grabs- the two finalists and the winner of the third-place bout advance to Tokyo
Women
Flyweight has four quota spots up for grabs, which equate to the four semifinal spots. In other words, semifinal = Tokyo
Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight and Middleweight each have three spots available- the two semifinal winners and the third-place finisher make the Tokyo field.
