The WGC-HSBC Champions, which was scheduled for October 27th through the 30th in Shanghai, has been cancelled as a result of new COVID restrictions in the country. 
The Butterfield Bermuda Championship is still on for that week and will be played with full FedEx Cup points on the line. 
After its first three installments in South Korea and the past two in Las Vegas, South Carolina will host the CJ Cup this year from October 20th through the 23rd.

UFC on Saturday
Jamie Pickett v. Denis Tiuliulin has been removed from the card and has been tentatively rescheduled for September 10th
Austin Lingo v. David Onama at featherweight is off the card. Onama will instead face newcomer Garrett Armfield

Zolani Tete claimed the Commonwealth title with a fourth-round finish of Jason Cunningham

Patricky Freire is out of his lightweight title defense against Sydney Outlaw
Tofiq Musayev v. Sydney Outlaw is a new main card bout
Musayev was scheduled to face Adam Piccolotti, but Piccolotti is out of the contest 
Douglas Lima v. Jason Jackson is the new main event 


Junior Welterweight Boxing
Josh Taylor has vacated his WBC title and the belt will be between Jose Ramirez and Jose Zepeda in a rematch

Emanuel Navarrete v. Eduardo Baez
29-0 Giovani Santillan will be in action and there will be a rematch between Nico Ali Walsh and Reyes Sanchez (the only one of Walsh's five opponents who hasn't been stopped- this went to a majority decision for 5-0 Nico)  


Combat Sports News
Felice Herrig has signed with Bare Knuckle FC after concluding a 24-fight MMA career with Octagon wins over Kailin Curran, Alexa Grasso, Justine Kish and Cortney Casey. She has thirty-seven wins in combat sports with 23 in kickboxing and 14 in MMA
