Saturday, September 5th: Kentucky Derby; UFC Fight Night with the expected heavyweight headliner Overeem v. Sakai 
Thursday, September 10th: NFL Kickoff- Texans v. Chiefs
Saturday, September 12th: UFC Fight Night with the expected light heavyweight headliner Santos v. Teixeira 
Saturday, September 19th: UFC Fight Night with the expected welterweight headliner Woodley v. Covington 
Saturday, September 26th: UFC 253- Adesanya v. Costa 

The New York Islanders can book a spot in the NHL Eastern Conference Semifinals as early as tomorrow, as they take a 3-0 lead into game four. The same fate could await the Las Vegas Golden Knights, who head into game five tomorrow against the Chicago Blackhawks with a 3-1 lead 

One obstacle to Fury v. Joshua could still be standing after Saturday, as WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte will have his hands full against Alexander Povetkin 

The UEFA Champions League semifinals will be tomorrow (RB Leipzig v. Paris Saint-Germain) and Wednesday (Bayern Munich v. Lyon)

Looking toward next season, Champions and Europa League qualifying will start up tomorrow and Wednesday. Teams competing include defending Scottish Premiership champs Celtic, Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar
