*If we take rankings out of the way and look at the winning streaks of both, a majority of Burns' wins have come at lightweight, while all of Edwards' eight have come at welterweight. Either a three-fight streak of Maia/Woodley/Edwards or a nine-fight win streak should merit a shot at the current champ.

Probably not- this is her fourth straight loss- all by stoppage- but she has fought three times in a four-month span during a global pandemic. I think she gets another walk to the Octagon and walking papers if she loses a fifth in a row. Keep in mind, too, that she was 2-0 last year. 

How much should Atlanta United fans read into the 3-1 loss against Orlando City?

Just that they've scored three times in two games after going scoreless at the MLS is Back Tournament and with Josef Martinez out for the year. Nothing more than that at this point.
