NCAA Division II Softball
Young Harris swept Shorter University in a doubleheader yesterday (February 22nd) by scores of 10-0 (six innings) and 7-1. Young Harris improves to 7-6 and will have two doubleheaders this weekend: tomorrow (February 24th) at Belmont Abbey and Sunday (February 25th) at Catawba.

North Georgia swept Shorter University in a home doubleheader on Wednesday (February 21st) by identical scores of 2-0 to move to 17-0 on the year. North Georgia has also recorded six straight shutouts. North Georgia will be back in action today, tomorrow (February 24th), and Sunday (February 25th) at the Disney Citrus Classic.


NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse
The Young Harris Mountain Lions upset 19th-ranked Florida Tech 8-5 on Sunday (February 18th). The Mountain Lions improved to 1-3 with their first-ever win over a ranked D2 opponent in team history. Young Harris will be back in action this evening with their first-ever Great Lakes Valley Conference match when they will host Maryville University.


NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse
Young Harris won both matches last weekend: an 18-15 win over Alabama-Huntsville on Saturday (February 17th), and a 22-11 win over Montevallo on Sunday (February 18th). Young Harris is now 3-0 both overall and in the Gulf South Conference and have now won nine straight contests dating back to the 2017 season. Young Harris will be back in action on Wednesday (February 28th) with a home Gulf South contest against Lee University.


NCAA Division II Men's Tennis
North Georgia will have their Peach Belt opener this afternoon against Georgia Southwestern. North Georgia is currently 4-0 and have two straight 9-0 shutout wins to their credit.

Young Harris will host Georgia College this afternoon in their Peach Belt opener. Young Harris is currently 5-0 on the season.

Limestone College will host South Carolina-Sumter later today. Limestone is currently 1-3 on the season.


NCAA Division I Baseball
Army-West Point will open a three-game series at Maryland this afternoon. Army is currently 1-3 on the season after winning one-of-three last weekend against Michigan and falling on Wednesday (February 21st) against Fordham.

Cornell will open their season with a doubleheader at Texas A&M this evening and a solo game tomorrow (February 24th). Texas A&M enters the series 4-0.


NCAA Equestrian
Western Equestrian- Final Region 4 Standings
St. Andrew's finishes first, NC State finishes second, Liberty University finishes third.

Hunt Seat- Final Region 4 Standings
Sweet Briar edged Liberty University for the top spot and advance as a team to the Zone 4 Championships.


NCAA Division II Men's Basketball
Columbus State defeated Flagler College 90-87 on the road on Wednesday (February 21st). With losses by both Georgia College and Lander, Columbus State (currently 9-12 in Peach Belt play) has clinched a spot in next week's Peach Belt tournament as they have now won three straight.

North Georgia also clinched a spot in the Peach Belt tournament next week with a 103-92 road win over Lander University on Wednesday (February 21st).


High School Track & Field
The Cottage School's first two meets are- right now- Friday, March 2nd at Parkview and Wednesday, March 7th at Mt. Pisgah. The Atlanta Athletic Conference championship meet is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28th at Mill Springs.
