NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse
The Young Harris Mountain Lions dominated Shorter 19-2 on Saturday (February 10th) to start their season and Gulf South schedule 1-0. Young Harris had 25 shots on goal to Shorter's 4 and won 19 of the 22 draw controls in the match, including all five in the second half. The Mountain Lions now have seven straight wins dating back to last season.
Young Harris will have two Gulf South games at home this weekend- Saturday (February 17th) against Alabama-Huntsville and Sunday (February 18th) against Montevallo.
NCAA Division II Men's Golf
Young Harris will open their spring schedule today and tomorrow at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, before closing out February competition at the Hurricane Invitational on Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th.
NCAA Division II Women's Golf
North Georgia's first competition of the spring semester will be Monday, February 26th and Tuesday, February 27th at the LMU Spring Intercollegiate.
Young Harris's next competition will be Monday, March 5th and Tuesday, March 6th at the Lady Cougar Classic hosted by Columbus State (North Georgia will also be in the field).
NCAA Division II Men's Tennis
3-0 Young Harris will be back in action on Saturday (February 17th) with a home contest against Auburn-Montgomery, and Sunday (February 18th) with a home contest against King University.
3-0 North Georgia will be on the road on Saturday (February 17th) at Tusculum College, before returning home on Sunday (February 18th) to host Carson-Newman.
NCAA Division II Rifle
North Georgia will be at the Sectionals Qualifier hosted by Virginia Military on Saturday (February 17th).
NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse
The Berry College Vikings defeated Southwestern University 15-4 on the road on Saturday (February 10th). Southwestern falls to 0-2, while Berry College opens their season 0-1.
The Vikings will next be in action on Friday (February 16th) against Christopher Newport.
NCAA Shooting
Liberty University will be at the Eastern Championships and USAS Qualifier next Saturday (February 24th) and Sunday (February 25th) at Fort Benning.
2018 Winter Olympics
Women's Snowboarding: Jamie Anderson (United States) won the Slopestyle competition.
Men's Snowboarding: Red Gerard (United States) won the Slopestyle competition.
Figure Skating: In the team event, Canada won the gold, the Olympic Athletes from Russia claimed the silver, and the United States won the bronze.
NCAA Division I Basketball- tonight's Big 12 games
19th-ranked West Virginia (7-5 in Big 12 action) will host TCU (5-7 in Big 12 action)
Texas will host Baylor (both teams 5-7 in Big 12 action)

NCAA Men's Polo
Cornell defeated defending national champion Roger Williams 18-13 on Saturday (February 10th) and are now 11-3 on the year.
Cornell will be back in action on Friday (February 16th) with a home contest against the Prestonwood Polo Club.
NCAA Division I Softball
Cornell will open their season Friday, March 2nd through Sunday, March 4th at the Hatter Classic hosted by Stetson.
