Russia will not be allowed to continue in qualifying for the men's World Cup and will not compete in the women's Euros this summer. Spartak Moscow has been removed from the Europa League Round of 16, handing RB Leipzig a bye into the last eight.
*Previously, Russia's men's team was to face Poland on March 24th as the Russian Football Union and the previous stance from FIFA was that Russia would play at neutral venues without their team flag or anthem. 
*UEFA's partnership with Russian energy kingpin Gazprom has also ended- this was a deal worth forty million pounds per year
*Paris, not Saint Petersburg, will host this years' Champions League final
